Meet the makers, growers, and bakers

The people behind your Sunday morning favourites
Every stall at Freo Farmers Market has a story. A farmer who wakes up before dawn to harvest. A baker perfecting their sourdough recipe. A maker who pours their heart into every handcrafted item. These aren't faceless brands or corporate suppliers. They're your neighbours, local growers, and passionate artisans who care deeply about what they do. When you shop at the market, you're not just buying food and goods – you're supporting real people, real farms, and real local businesses.

Why Our Stallholders Are Special

They're local Most of our vendors live, work, and grow their products right here in WA. Your money stays in the community.
They're passionate These aren't people just doing a job. They're doing what they love, and it shows in the quality.
They're transparent Ask any question about where something came from, how it was made, or what's in it. Our stallholders love talking about their craft.
They care about sustainability From farming practices to packaging choices, our vendors are committed to doing things the right way. That's why we're single-use plastic-free across the entire market.
They're part of the community Many of our stallholders have been with us for years. They know your name, remember your usual order, and genuinely care about what they're bringing to your table.

Example: Green Patch Organics
Certified Organic Vegetables
Sarah and Tom have been growing organic vegetables on their Swan Valley farm for twelve years. What started as a backyard hobby turned into a full-time passion when they realized how much better food tastes when it's grown with care. You'll find them at the market every Sunday with whatever's in season—from rainbow carrots to heirloom tomatoes to leafy greens that make salad actually exciting. Ask Sarah about her favorite recipes; she's full of ideas.
