Our History
Freo Farmers Market began as Growers Green Farmers Market in 2010. The market was located on the grounds of South Fremantle High School. It was an initiative of the P&C. Kylie Wheatley was employed as the manager from 2014. In 2018 the school underwent a huge renovation and was renamed Fremantle College. Kylie Wheatley of Red Tent Events now leases the space and operates the market for the community with the support of the City of Fremantle.
